We are excited to announce a change in dates for the NSM 33rd Annual Scientific Conference 2018, which will now take place on 24 – 26 July 2018 at Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur. This change was necessary to avoid conflicting with the polling day of the 14th General Elections.

The NSM Publication Prizes are aimed at encouraging and promoting local research publications in nutrition science. Prizes are awarded by the Nutrition Society of Malaysia with financial support from Corporate Members of the Society. Three categories of NSM Publication Prizes were offered in 2018. »

The proposed Allied Health Professional Act (AHP) Act is to ensure that Nutrition Science is practised by appropriately qualified professionals. Only graduates from university programmes that provide adequate training to enable them to carry out the required roles shall be recognised for registration as a Nutritionist under the proposed AHP. »
