Protein is a prerequisite nutrient in human diet and is necessary for growth, development and in the maintenance of good health. In Southeast Asia, there is growing awareness that quality protein plays an important role as part of a healthy diet for different target populations, especially those with specific nutritional needs.
This webinar provides a platform for all relevant stakeholders to discuss the role of soy in the diet of the population in Southeast Asia, particularly Malaysia. It aims to share examples of more varied choices of soy foods to meet the recommendations of the Malaysian Dietary Guidelines to consume more legumes. The virtual meeting will also feature sharing of culinary experience of creating interesting recipes using soy foods.
